Specialized Parliamentary Committee adjusted the bill on amendments to the Tax Code to the second reading, taking into account the proposals of the People´s Deputies. Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made the foregoing statement in the interview to "Vid Pershoyi Osoby" program (Era Radio). However, he did not rule out the possibility that the bill might be adopted during the next plenary week.
According to Volodymyr Lytvyn, nearly thirty bills on this matter have been registered in the Verkhovna Rada. Having analyzed the bills and relevant proposals, the Committee drafted the bill on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine for the second reading. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems necessary to adopt "a perfect, unified document", comprehensive amendments to the Tax Code that would consider business sector demands.
Discussing the governmental bill which was also registered in the Parliament, V. Lytvyn stated that it would be soon decided whether it should be put on the agenda. "If the bill is upheld, we would analyze the bill being prepared for the second reading. In my opinion, the situation needs stronger coordination. The government shall also submit its motions and remarks concerning the Committee's bill", he stated.
